The best part of Christmas are the quiet days that follow. I love the time that settles in to really have time to read the books and make tiny portions of your favourite foods and when you eat, that you are able to taste and enjoy them. The projects done and the year coming to an end , there is time to think about the what next in life.
Christmas was quiet and magical. Three generations, adopted friend family and pets that think that they are family too. It was lovely to light candles and share in our very toned down way. I felt so very blessed with all three of the children home . They make everyday for me and my husband pulled off an amazing feast for us all. Twenty-five years and I feel like a bride always.

Judy, I wanted to respond to your comment right away. Thanks for your compliments, it's always nice to get 'em. My Dad who passed away 2 years ago at 56 had fibromyalgyia rhuematica. During my last pregnancy my doctor's really thought that I had lupus. They determined that I had a type of auto immune dissorder of some sort. Anyway, I feel for you. These needles seem to be(so far)very easy to work with. Circular needles keep all that weight off your hands and wrists anyway, right? But these are also really smooth and very flexible! Good luck if you decide to get them-they are about $60 in the store. You can also order them online.
Hi
Thanks for your response. This fibro stuff is really hard to live with as you and your Dad ( I am sorry ) must know. They looked at every corner of me as well, saying the words autoimmune. My fibro was triggered by a series of accidents.
My doctor will not refer me or look at other alteratives for the pain so I just slog on. I have asked about massage or acupunture and he won't refer me either. There are no specialists where I live. I work from my home creating "things" and dolls and have developed a blind eye for dustbunnies and unmade beds.
I will try my circular needles again and if that works will move to the "cadillac" that you are gleefully knitting with.
It was fun to meet you through your blog. I have no idea how to make a link butif I figure it out I will link to you.
Have a really good day. You can see a lot of my work if you go to Google and type ready-to-pretend. It takes you to my art site.
Yours Janet

Hi! I'm glad you like my socks. I would be happy to tell you about teaching overseas, but I don't have your email! Please email me at jenniferteacher AT gmail No Spam DOT com. (Take out the no spam and replace at and dot with the symbols.)

Janet - I'd be happy to add you to the SOSF list, but do to so, you need to go to the SOSF site, and get my email from there and then send me the applicable information (all instructions are on the screen). Happy fairying!
hey thanks for the comment, i agree completely that God says no, but there are however circumstances for which He will not. it is an incomplete post, there is a lot of context outlined in the few simple words "delight in the Lord" which i am exploring before continuing, and the latter dictates the circumstances needed to succeed(a christian's will is to be conformed to that of God's for them).
